We submit completed Manual J calculations to Dallas's building department regularly and know what their reviewers want to see on the first submission.

- What they ask for:
- Manual J for residential mechanical permits; commercial loads per IECC; Dallas reviewers can be backlogged so clean first-submit matters more here than other DFW cities
- Common AHJ asks:
- Window/door specs sometimes requested separately; older Dallas housing stock often has unknown envelope details that we estimate conservatively; design temperatures (98° summer / 22° winter — slightly warmer design temp than the suburbs)
